I was asked by some colorists to talk about my expereinces in ACES (Academy Color Encoding System).
So I recorded a combi-tutorial, using baselight:
1. Dealing with Highlights in a LOG and ACES timeline
2. Differences and benefits of ACES
3. The theory of ACES
I tried to keep it simple and not to technical.
Cathy Carey, and artist and art instructor, has written a book called The Philosophy of Color. She uses the book to cover basic techniques and ideas associated with color theory. In this video she covers color theory vocabulary words such as: atmospheric perspective, hue, primary color, and complimentary color. This is part 1 of a 4 part series.
