The project Tveir Heimar is an mixed music project created for live performance.
It's about two worlds, two contrasting cities and two inspirations.
For me, Reykjavik can be pictured through electro-acoustic music created with
the new technologies. These sounds represent the violence of the turbulent
Northern winds juxtaposed by the captivating beauty of the perfectly static landscape.
Montreal can be represented by acoustic instrumentation, more structural and traditional.
These traditional elements overlap and collide representing the internal struggle.
Both these places are very physical and alive but at the same time have contrasting
landscapes that are emotionally warm and breathe.
