Project: Sky Q On Demand Client: Venture 3 / BSkyB Music & Sound Design: Box Of Toys Audio BACKGROUND / As part of the ongoing distribution of Sky Q, Venture 3 invited us to collaborate on a pre-roll identity for the new on demand service. APPROACH / Sky Q's on demand service covers a lot of ground in terms of content and our audio needed to remain relevant to any genre that followed. The music exists as an evolving soundscape that captures the imagination and remains true to the Sky brand. Sound design punctuates movement and detail, occasionally nodding towards content and uses glassy textures to convey a sense of quality. Both stereo and 5.1 mixes were delivered.

We were then able to magnify details that are invisible to the human eye, and utilise impossible camera angles to show each moment in a completely new light. Project: Sky Q Ultra HD Lizard Client: Venture 3 / bSkyb Sound Design: Box Of Toys Audio BACKGROUND / London studios Venture 3 and Neon bring ultra high definition nature documentaries to life with this immersive study of the animal kingdom. Box Of Toys Audio were commissioned to design a detailed soundscape for this macro moment of breathtaking agility. APPROACH / As we glide through the trees in slow motion our aim was to immerse the viewer in the complexity and effervescence of the jungle, supporting the tagline 'see more than ever before'. Illustrating the currents of air provided a foundation of movement whilst the wider soundscape is comprised of the bustling menagerie surrounding the scene. Cinematic accents punctuate key moments and help to inject an overal sense of weight and momentum.
